Tumwater, WA — Are you a janitorial worker in Washington state? If so, the Department of Labor & Industries is looking for you to take part in a statewide survey on the workload, job tasks and hazards facing custodial services employees.
Researchers from the department’s Safety & Health Assessment & Research for Prevention program intend to use the results of the voluntary, confidential survey as they complete the Washington State Janitorial Workload study, Washington L&I states.
“Sharing your workplace experience will help us identify ways to prevent injuries for janitors and, in turn, create safer and healthier work conditions,” Patricia Pacheco, research analyst for Washington L&I, says in a video promoting the survey.
The survey takes 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
