OSHA temp worker group to meet May 13

Washington – An OSHA workgroup is scheduled to meet May 13 to discuss occupational safety and health issues regarding temporary workers.

The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health’s Temporary Workers Work Group is slated to discuss best-practice language for protecting temp workers under employers’ injury and illness prevention programs. The conversation is part of recommendations the workgroup is developing for NACOSH to consider.

The meeting will run from 11 a.m. until noon. Anyone interested in attending the meeting via teleconference should contact the Department of Labor by email or phone at (202) 693-2176 no later than May 12.
