The Bureau of Labor Statistics 2012 fatality data used in "State Spotlight" in the January 2014 through August 2014 issues of Safety+Health was preliminary but was not identified as such. S+H regrets the oversight and thanks the sharp-eyed reader who pointed it out. BLS updated its 2012 fatality data earlier this year, and "State Spotlight" will feature the updated data through the remainder of 2014.
