Safety publications earn spots on government’s best-seller list

Washington – Some of the top-selling federal government publications of 2013 were occupational safety-related, according to a Government Printing Office list released Jan. 22.

GPO lists the Department of Transportation’s “Emergency Response Guidebook 2012” – which provides information to first responders on protecting themselves during an initial response to an incident – as the fourth most popular publication.

NIOSH’s “Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards” book ranked 34th and the Federal Aviation Administration’s “FAA Safety Briefing” magazine ranked 45th.
