Montreal – The scientific research organization IRSST recently released the second edition of its guide on safe use of isocyanates.
The guide provides information on reducing workplace exposure to isocyanates – a group of toxic chemicals used to make paints, rigid foam and other products. It also includes examples of workplace situations during which exposure can occur.
