Motor carrier safety committee to host meeting

Alexandria, VA – Motorcoach hours-of-service regulations, roadside violation severity weightings, a cross-border trucking pilot program with Mexico and obstructive sleep apnea are among the topics to be discussed at an upcoming public meeting (.pdf file) of the Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee. The meeting is scheduled for Dec. 5-8 in Alexandria, VA.

MCSAC is composed of 19 members from the motor carrier industry, safety advocates and safety enforcement sectors. The committee provides recommendations on motor carrier safety programs to the administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
