NACOSH to meet, discuss Prevention through Design

Washington – Prevention through Design and electronic health records are scheduled to be discussed at an upcoming December meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.

The public meeting, slated for Dec. 14-15 in Washington, is tentatively scheduled to include remarks from OSHA administrator David Michaels and NIOSH Director John Howard. The committee’s Injury and Illness Prevention Programs and Recordkeeping workgroups will meet Dec. 14.

Comprising 12 members representing management, labor, occupational safety and health professions, and the public, NACOSH advises the secretaries of labor and health and human services on a variety of worker safety issues.
