The PIP Traverse safety helmet with Quin technology integrates two patented systems: the Quin Pod Emergency Event Detection system and the Quin Tag Secure Digital Medical ID. Quin Pod is an intelligent event-detection system that recognizes falls, impacts and environmental risks. It delivers automated alerts with incident analytics to emergency contacts, site teams and 911/EMS. Features include temperature-change alerts, helmet-drop tracking and an SOS beacon. Quin Tag is a secure digital medical ID and alerting tool that gives responders controlled access to encrypted information stored in the helmet. In an emergency, bystanders can scan the tag to view medical details or trigger a help request, notifying contacts or 911/EMS.
