New tools available for implementing a Total Worker Health program

Lowell, MA — A new toolkit from the Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace is intended to help employers put into action its version of a Total Worker Health program.

Among the tools for CPH-NEW’s Healthy Workplace Participatory Program are an orientation video and case studies. That’s part of the organization’s first step in implementation, titled Program Start-Up.

The other three phases:

- Digital Partners -
  • Forming Program Teams
  • Designing Interventions
  • Monitoring, Evaluating and Sustaining the Program

Among the program team members are those that form a steering committee, along with TWH facilitators. Part of the toolkit contains advice on how to identify and train those facilitators.
