Washington — The ninth annual Safe + Sound Week is just days away.
Set for Aug. 11-17, the national initiative is aimed at raising awareness and understanding of workplace safety and health programs. OSHA and a coalition of safety organizations – including the National Safety Council – team up for the effort.
“Preparedness is your superpower” is this year’s theme. Emergency preparedness resources include worksheets that guide employers through developing a crisis communication plan or fine-tuning an emergency action plan. You also can take the “Response-Ready Workplace Challenge.”
Registration is available online.
