Washington – OSHA issued a correction and technical amendment to its Hazard Communication Standard to change references of “Material Safety Data Sheets” to the updated “Safety Data Sheets.”

Motorcycle injury risk increases with age: study

Providence, RI – The percentage of U.S. motorcyclists 50 or older more than doubled between 1990 and 2003, and older motorcyclists have a higher risk of severe injury and hospitalization from a crash than younger riders, according to a study from Brown University.

FMCSA issues exemptions for 40 hearing-impaired drivers

Washington – The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on Feb. 1 approved 40 deaf or hard-of-hearing drivers to operate commercial motor vehicles for interstate commerce.
