St. Paul, MN — Nurses and non-clinical personnel such as environmental and food services staff wash their hands more frequently than other health care workers, according to recent research from Ecolab – a manufacturer of water, hygiene, and energy technologies and services.

NSC: Odds of dying from an opioid overdose now greater than in a crash

Itasca, IL — For the first time on record, the odds of dying from an unintentional opioid overdose in a given lifetime – 1 in 96 – are greater than the lifetime odds of dying in a motor vehicle crash – 1 in 103, according to a new analysis from the National Safety Council.
