Since its launch in 1919, this publication has kept the safety community informed on what is now known as the National Safety Council Congress & Expo.

Safety+Health readers have always shown their passion for safety – and their eagle eye for hazards and unsafe practices.

Safety+Health has been fortunate to have long-serving editors in its 100-year history.

Since Safety+Health’s launch as National Safety News in 1919, the publication has always had a special relationship with the National Safety Council Library.

The 50th Anniversary issue of National Safety News, published in November 1969, features a retrospective that makes reference to the safety issues being discussed at the 1919 National Safety Congress.
