CSB posts voting records, board orders

The Chemical Safety Board published on its Website voting records dating back to November 2009, as well as copies of dozens of board orders.

The Jan. 8 move was in response to a request from California Democratic Reps. George Miller, chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, and Lynn Woolsey, chairman of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee. It also complies with President Barack Obama’s Open Government Directive.

According to a CSB press release, the records contain board members’ views on issues such as report drafts, closure of safety recommendations and budgetary matters. Other votes are related to internal CSB operations.
