What to Expect from OSHA in FY 2023

3/30/23 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CDT

Event Description

OSHA issued more than 22,000 violations in fiscal year 2022, and that’s just within the agency’s top 10 most cited standards. OSHA also increased its maximum penalties for violations last fiscal year and a set a higher annual inspection goal than ever before. As a result, many health and safety professionals find themselves struggling to keep up with compliance, and most have the same or less resources, budget, and staff on which they rely.

Courtney Malveaux, the featured guest for this webinar, has decades of experience helping companies understand, prioritize and comply with regulatory matters. As a business attorney and former OSHA regulator, he speaks the language of both sides and advocates for partnerships between agencies and employers. Courtney joins Peter Steinfeld, senior vice president of safety solutions at AlertMedia, to provide expert advice on what you need to know about OSHA’s initiatives, what to expect during an inspection, and how to proactively monitor and ensure compliance to help you keep your people and business safe.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What’s new from OSHA and what to expect this year
  • How to address specific initiatives, from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases to heat exposure and electronic recordkeeping
  • New approaches to enforcement and disciplinary actions
  • Tips for “impressing” OSHA regulators during inspections
  • The importance of proper policies and effective monitoring
