Washington – An OSHA forum featuring outside experts addressing combustible dust hazards is slated for May 13 in Washington.
The forum will feature discussions on regulatory options for preventing combustible dust hazards at a minimized cost to small and medium-sized businesses, according to an OSHA press release. Speakers will include representatives from academia, research groups, insurance-underwriter organizations, labor, government and various industries.
Anyone wishing to attend the forum as a non-participating observer should contact Bill Hamilton at (202) 693-2077 by May 6. Space is limited, so interested organizations should limit observers to one representative.
OSHA said a summary of the forum will be available on the agency’s combustible dust webpage shortly after the meeting.
