OSHA has scheduled informal stakeholder meetings to assist the agency in its development of a combustible dust standard.
An advance notice of proposed rulemaking for a combustible dust standard was issued Oct. 21. OSHA is seeking input during the Feb. 17 meetings on the standard’s scope, organization and economic impact, and on the role of consensus standards.
Previous stakeholder meetings took place in Washington last month. Additional meetings are scheduled for later this year.
