The blade of the Ceramic Retractable Knife locks in the “out” position while a controlled cut is made. If the knife is jerked, shaken or dropped, the blade will retract. Molded in tough glass-filled nylon, the ReAkta Knife comes complete with a “ceramic” blade – known to last up to 10 times longer than steel. These blades are reversible and replaceable and have a rounded tip for extra safety.
