Industrial Scientific Corp., a Pittsburgh-based global leader in gas detection and safety-as-a-service, has named Himanshu Khurana vice president of engineering. Khurana will be responsible for leading ISC’s engineering team, as well as developing and executing its global technology strategy. He most recently served as vice president and chief technology officer at Honeywell Building Solutions, where he led the development of a full stack of industrial Internet of Things products and services. Before that, he served in multiple roles at Honeywell, focusing on foundational research and development, product development processes, and innovation across multiple technology and market domains. Khurana has published over 50 scientific articles and holds 10 patents.
