Residential fall protection slideshow

Citing the large number of fall-related injuries and deaths, OSHA in December issued a compliance directive stating residential construction employers must provide workers with fall protection in line with the agency’s fall protection standard (1926.501). Enforcement of the directive, originally scheduled to go into effect June 16, 2011, has been delayed for three months.

The slideshow below has been rendered from an OSHA-produced PowerPoint presentation describing the problem and outlining acceptable methods for preventing falls.
