The SMC 2000 FM-ST Solar Message Center, now available from Work Area Protection Corp., is portable and displays messages on a 76- by 139-inch panel through an NTCIP-compliant controller with secure password protection. The message center uses five high-intensity LEDs per 2-inch pixel for up to 1,000 feet of readability. It is powered by a battery bank continually recharged by a solar array.
