Fairfax, VA – Despite Colorado and Washington state legalizing small quantities of marijuana for recreational use, the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators has announced that its substance abuse policy still prohibits workers from using the drug.
The policy also will continue to prohibit the use of medical marijuana, according to a March 20 statement from the nonprofit national crane operator certifier.
Workers found not in compliance with NCCCO’s drug policy will have their certification status automatically revoked, the commission said.
