PPE specialist course

The Personal Protective Equipment Specialist course provides 13 hours of training (1.3 CEUs) focused on the proper selection, use, maintenance and disposal of PPE. It covers key regulatory standards, hazard assessments, engineering and administrative controls, and PPE training requirements. Topics include hearing conservation; eye and face protection; respiratory protection; head, hand and foot protection; and fit testing. The course also addresses electrical protective equipment and fall protection.
