Washington — Registration is open for the ninth annual Safe + Sound Week, set for Aug. 11-17.
OSHA and a coalition of safety organizations – including the National Safety Council – team up for the national initiative, which is aimed at raising awareness and understanding of workplace safety and health programs.
“Preparedness is your superpower” is the theme of this year’s event. Emergency preparedness resources include worksheets that guide employers through developing a crisis communication plan or fine-tuning an emergency action plan, as well as a “Response-Ready Workplace Challenge.”
