Bilbao, Spain — Napo is back, and this time he’s helping educate about robotics safety in the workplace.

The animated 3D character is featured in a new video produced by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, also known as EU-OSHA. Napo and his colleagues attempt to navigate tasks with a robotic wrapping machine, an exoskeleton and a collaborative robot – or “cobot.”

“Automation of physical and cognitive tasks and smart digital systems are some of the topics addressed in the 2023-25 Healthy Workplaces Campaign Safe and healthy work in the digital age,” EU-OSHA says.

Napo’s webpage – titled Safety with a Smile – includes additional videos on musculoskeletal disorders, fire safety, heat, and safety signs and symbols.
