Washington – The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement on Oct. 24 issued a Notice to Lessees that includes guidance for offshore oil and gas operators to comply with the Workplace Safety Rule.

BLS: Workplace injury and illness rate drops

Washington – The nonfatal occupational injury and illness rate fell to 3.5 cases per 100 full-time private-industry workers in 2010, from 3.6 in 2009, according to new data released Oct. 20 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
