OSHA on Wednesday released 15 years’ worth of data on workplace exposure to toxic chemicals. The data consists of measurements on exposure levels to various hazardous chemicals taken by compliance officers during inspections.
That same day, OSHA issued an enforcement memorandum directing inspectors to ensure they verify workers are receiving OSHA-required training in a language they understand. The directive originally was announced April 14 by Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis during OSHA’s National Action Summit for Latino Worker Health and Safety.
