FACEValue: Stonemason killed after falling from handmade platform

A master stonemason died after falling roughly 30 feet to the ground from a wooden two-tiered work platform. The platform, which had been fabricated by the victim and another employee, was fastened to the forks of a powered industrial truck. At the time of the incident, the victim was preparing to exit the platform, and the front guardrails on the upper tier of the platform were not in place.
