Senate debates FAA bill

Washington – Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) recently warned Republicans and Democrats that if issues with the Federal Aviation Administration Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act were not resolved by Feb. 14, he would file cloture on the bill, forcing it to come up for a vote.

NHTSA study clears Toyota of automobile defects

Washington – Results from a 10-month study found no electronic flaws in Toyota vehicles capable of producing unintended acceleration incidents, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced Feb. 8.
