The National Safety Council recently approved a new position-policy statement in support of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs and continued adequate funding for the program by the government. Additionally, NSC encourages OSHA to continue to exempt VPP sites from programmed enforcement visits and opposes any efforts to require VPP sites to pay a fee to participate in the program.
