Washington – The American Trucking Associations is seeking motor carriers to take part in a survey that would help form a better idea of how much time and money motor carriers devote to safety every year.

The findings will help ATA develop a safety investment benchmark tool, which will be free to any organization that participates. The association also said it could use the results to shape educational and advocacy activities going forward.

Individual responses about safety expenditures will be kept confidential, and organizations may sign an optional non-disclosure agreement as part of the study. Organizations that participate also will be invited to a free, private webinar with ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello to discuss the study’s results and ask questions.

The deadline to participate is July 24. Anyone who has questions about the study may contact Laurel Leitner at [email protected] or (703) 838-1935.
