‘An ounce of prevention’: May is Older Americans Month

In recognition of Older Americans Month in May, National Safety Council President and CEO Deborah A.P. Hersman blogged about the top risk to older Americans: falls. She shared a story about her mom almost falling during a family hike in California, and notes that “Our parents looked out for us when we were younger. Now it’s our turn to assess the risks in their lives.”
