NSC recognizes 2017 Green Cross for Safety Award winners
The National Safety Council presented its 2017 Green Cross for Safety Awards on May 25 during the Green Cross for Safety Dinner.
Honorees are:
- Excellence Award: PotashCorp
- Innovation Award: The Boeing Co.
- Advocate Award: Park Ridge, IL, Police Department Deputy Police Chief Lou Jogmen
“PotashCorp, The Boeing Company and Deputy Chief Jogmen have helped make our world a safer place to work and live,” NSC President and CEO Deborah A.P. Hersman said in a May 26 press release. “We are proud to honor them and to recognize all the outstanding finalists that share the council’s goal of eliminating preventable deaths and injuries in our lifetime.”
