The National Safety Council Young Professionals Division is inviting NSC student members to request a professional mentor as part of the Division’s new mentorship program. Active safety and health professionals will be paired with a college student who is a current NSC student member.

Mentors will be able to assist student members in the following areas:

  • Educational questions (college safety course questions)
  • Safety career advice
  • Possible information on work or internship opportunities
  • Information on professional resources

The goal of this program is to help students become successful in their college studies and, ultimately, their future careers in the health and safety field.

To participate in the mentorship program, email Christy Maes, NSC program manager, volunteers & awards, at [email protected]. To join an NSC Division, complete an application.

The Young Professionals Division comprises active safety professionals and NSC student members 45 and younger.
