Future World of Work Summit: More panelists announced
Itasca, IL — NIOSH Director John Howard is among the speakers recently confirmed for the National Safety Council virtual State of COVID-19 Response and Future World of Work Summit.
Presented by SAFER: Safe Actions for Employee Returns, an NSC initiative, the summit is scheduled for 9 a.m. Central on Dec. 9. In addition to Howard, Keita Franklin, chief clinical officer at Loyal Source Government Services, and Catherine West, director of global safety and health at Jacobs Engineering, will join the panel, which already includes David O’Connor, vice president of global security/real estate at Thermo Fisher Scientific; and Michelle Garner-Janna, executive director of corporate health, safety and environment at Cummins Inc. The discussion will include:
- How leaders must adapt and evolve to meet emerging challenges
- Mental health and psychological safety
- What employers need to know about continued remote work risks
