OSHA to host discussion of safety and health program management guidelines

OSHA

Washington – OSHA administrator David Michaels is scheduled to lead a Dec. 9 public meeting to discuss updates to the agency’s draft Safety and Health Program Management Guidelines.

The meeting will take place at the Department of Labor’s Frances Perkins Building in Washington from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. OSHA officials are slated to provide an overview of draft changes made to the guidelines and address questions raised by stakeholders.

Seating for the meeting is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stakeholders who wish to ask questions during the meeting should submit them in advance to [email protected].

The draft, released in November, is an update to a voluntary document originally issued 26 years ago. The update contains new material intended to help small and medium-sized businesses, and addresses multi-employer worksites. Public comments on the draft are due Feb. 14.
