Guardair Corp.

Chicopee, MA-based Guardair Corp., the largest U.S. manufacturer of OSHA-compliant safety air guns and pneumatic vacuums, has appointed Scott Burkins senior director of operations. Burkins brings 35 years of experience in the industrial MRO space. Most recently, he was director of operations and engineering for Lenox, Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA. In his new role, Burkins will oversee all manufacturing operations. His focus is optimizing production through strategic planning, continuous process improvement, high-quality control and safety procedures.
