Pittsburgh-based Industrial Scientific Corp., a global leader in gas detection and safety-as-a-service, has announced changes to its team. Parker Burke has been promoted to president. Burke will be responsible for forming and executing the company’s strategy toward preserving human life and ending death on the job by 2050. Pronitha Shankarananda has joined ISC as vice president of product management. Shankarananda will lead the product management and applications engineering teams while developing and executing the business and product strategy at a global scale. Amanda Birkhead is the new vice president of marketing. Birkhead will work cross-functionally to tightly align the company’s go-to-market structure from market visibility and lead generation to sales.
