DOT schedules annual drug and alcohol conference for April
Washington – Registration is open for the Federal Transit Administration's 6th Annual Drug and Alcohol Program National Conference, the Department of Transportation announced Jan. 18.
The free three-day conference is scheduled to take place April 5-7 in St. Louis. Events will include education on 49 CFR Part 40 (.pdf file), which includes procedures for conducting transportation workplace drug and alcohol testing, and on 49 CFR Part 655 (.pdf file), which covers prevention of alcohol misuse and prohibited drug use among transit operators.
