Lathe shield
When this electrically interlocked heavy-duty cross-slide/carriage travel shield is swung out of position, the positive contacts on the microswitch open, sending a stop signal to the machine. All safety microswitches are mounted in an enclosed area and have a mechanical life of 1 million switching cycles.
