Maine releases worker injury database

Augusta, ME – The Maine Department of Labor recently launched a searchable online database of worker injuries and related costs.

The database uses six years of data from the state’s Workers’ Compensation Board, and displays injury, industry, occupation and demographic information using interactive charts and maps. Officials claim the database will help employers benchmark their safety records and improve safety performance.
