MSHA bulletins focus on diesel particulate matter
Arlington, VA – The Mine Safety and Health Administration on May 16 reissued several Program Information Bulletins concerning diesel particulate matter.
Topics include:
- Complying with the diesel particulate matter standard
- Using biodiesel fuel in underground equipment
- A health hazard caused by platinum-based catalyzed diesel particulate matter exhaust filters
- Field testing certain types of brakes
