NTSB announces forum on aviation safety
Washington – The National Transportation Safety Board announced it will host a forum June 19-20 in Washington to discuss safety issues and recommendations for the aviation industry.
The forum will address recommendations issued in the past few years, including pilot training and performance, adverse weather safety, and aircraft safety design, according to an agency press release. All board members, including NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman, will participate.
NTSB added “general aviation safety” to its Most Wanted List of transportation safety improvements in the past year.
