Splint Type-Basket Stretchers

Junkin pioneered the development of the Splint Type-Basket Stretcher which led to the outstanding Series 300 Stretchers. These splint type stretchers are the most efficient and practical products of their kind on the market. Made of steel, all welded rigid construction which does not rely on the injured person to attain form or rigidity. Light in weight and ample in size.

They produce a Plastisol Coated Splint Stretcher (JSA-300-PC) to make it rust proof.

There is a confined space stretcher only 19 inches in width with the same steel, all welded rigid construction. This stretcher is designed for  rescues where space is confined. They offer supplemental accessories to facilitate special handling needs.

All of these Splint type-basket stretchers have a load capacity of 1500 lbs.

Plastic Stretchers

Junkin offers two plastic stretchers.  Made of a Yellow high-density polyethylene shell, supported by a stainless steel outer rail, permanently attached with stainless steel semi-tubular rivets. These plastic stretchers offer molded runners, a fully exposed outer rail, a non absorbent foam pad which is secured to the stretcher and four patient restraint straps are included. The JSA-200 is constructed in one piece at 84-1/2 inches long.

The JSA-200-B is a Break-Away Plastic Stretcher. It has the same construction as the JSA-200. This plastic stretcher is design to rescue injured persons from locations where lengthy foot travel is mandatory. The stretcher breaks into two halves (44 inches max) which can be back-packed to the point of rescue and assembled in seconds. Positive-locking quick-release pins secure two halves together. The load capacity on these two plastic stretchers is 1200 lbs.

Stretchers

We offer a large variety of stretchers including the Flat Break-Away Stretcher which is easily separated without moving the patient. We have Easy-Fold Wheeled Stretchers (JSA-602) made of a sturdy aluminum tubing frame with flush folding hinges, four inch wheels and posts that fold easily for compact storage. The cover is fabricated from tough 18 oz. green vinyl coated nylon.  The cover is fungus and rot resistant and is easily wiped clean. Two inch wide patient restraint straps with automotive seatbelt type buckles are standard equipment.  Other variations include swivel wheels (JSA-602-S), adjustable back rest and handle or you can order an Easy-Fold Plain Stretcher (JSA-603) with no wheels or posts.
