Confused about GHS?

February 20, 2013

The first compliance deadline for OSHA’s revised Hazard Communication Standard is coming up this December, but do you know what’s required?

I first wrote about the changes to the standard last year shortly after OSHA issued a final rule, which aligned its standard with the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.

I recently hosted a Safety+Health webinar on what employers need to know about the upcoming changes. Danielle Gallo, a product marketing specialist for safety and facility identification products at Brady Worldwide, provided webinar attendees with background on GHS and what will be required of employers.

S+H has been hosting webinars on a variety of topics for about two years now, and the one on GHS was our most attended – more than 1,300 people logged in to hear about the requirements.

You can, too. Register (it’s free) and watch an archived presentation of the webinar. Feel free to leave your thoughts below.

Do you have any suggestions for future S+H webinars? Please let me know those as well.
