Washington — The two-year charter for NIOSH’s Mine Safety and Health Research Advisory Committee has been renewed through Nov. 30, 2022, according to a notice published in the Dec. 11 Federal Register.

The committee was created to offer guidance on mine safety and health research priorities to NIOSH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Department of Health and Human Services.

MSHRAC most recently convened June 2, marking the committee’s first meeting since Nov. 13-14, 2019, as noted by a meeting minutes log posted on the CDC website.
