Washington — OSHA’s Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health is scheduled to meet Aug. 11.

According to a notice published in the July 9 Federal Register, the virtual meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Eastern. Among the agenda items are an agency update and remarks from the acting assistant secretary, a Directorate of Construction industry update, a discussion of the OSHA “Construction Focus Four” hazards, and a public comment period. Requests to speak or present during the meeting are due July 27.

ACCSH advises the Department of Labor and OSHA on upcoming standards affecting the construction industry and “the administration of safety and health provisions” in the Construction Safety Act. On May 28, OSHA announced the new roster for the 15-member committee.
