Washington – The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has released its annual Pocket Guide to Large Truck and Bus Statistics, a resource aimed at bolstering the agency’s goal of preventing commercial motor vehicle-related deaths and injuries.

The guide, published in June, provides statistics on crashes, violations, inspections and investigations, along with a general overview. It also contains information on FMCSA’s grant programs, a list of agency resources and a look into its Methodology for State Safety Data Quality.

“The Pocket Guide can serve as a valuable, compact resource for industry representatives, federal agencies, and other individuals interested in motor carrier safety regulations and performance data,” FMCSA states on its website, adding that the data will be updated periodically.

FMCSA released its annual Large Truck and Bus Crash Facts in April.
