With an increase in mental health issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, our nation is experiencing a spike in opioid overdoses. Employers play a crucial role in supporting workers’ mental health and well-being. The National Safety Council offers resources, including playbooks, issue papers, checklists and more, to help employers do this effectively.

International Overdose Awareness Day – observed annually on Aug. 31 – is the perfect time to share these resources with your employees.
