“Fatal accidents occurring during the activity of MS pipe handling had become a challenge for the company for years. Asma led the effort for the development of safety procedures to tackle the hazards faced by site workers and achieved zero accident target in pipe handling activities being carried out across the company. Asma made it possible to save the lives of company employees and contractors' staff through conducting risk assessment involving contractor management; introduced JSA; and implemented behavior-based training, the inspection of load-lifting equipment and invited worker representatives to HSE meetings.”
